Galentine’s Day Waffle Fries Bar

It’s February, and while for most that means Valentine’s Day is on the horizon, for me it means Galentine’s Day is coming!

Galentine’s Day is a celebration on February 13 where girls get together and wallow in their love for one another. I heard about it for the first time on “Parks and Recreation” and absolutely fell in love with the idea.

Hosting Halloween: Spooky Dinner Setting

Velcome, to the second installment of my Hosting Halloween series where I take you through spooky dinner setting ideas! I hope you enjoyed my first post and are excited to see what other tricks I have in store for you.

This is my go-to Halloween table setting, and I often refer to it as a vintage Halloween setting. It uses stark blacks, bright oranges and mellow greens, which always put me in the mind of a 1950’s Halloween party.

Biscoff Cookie Butter Cheesecake

Cookie butter has been floating around in the baking world for quite a while, and recently, recipes for all sorts of cookie butters have been popping up. It’s gained an almost cult-like following in the United States since late 2015, and it’s popularity has only grown in the last year.

But have you tried original, good old-fashioned cookie butter?

Titanic Sugar Cookies

What none of you Internet friends of mine know that my real world friends know too well is that I am obsessed with sunken ships. Especially Titanic. I’ve seen every film adaptation of its sinking (even the dreaded “Titanic II”), and don’t even get me started on how many times I’ve seen the James Cameron adaptation!

I remember being mesmerized the first time I watched it. The scenes where the ship would degrade and then restore, from its wreckage to pristine condition–they took my breath away.
